WHAT WE PROVIDE

How does the mediation process work?  It’s simple:

  1.  The two parties in the dispute agree to pursue a mediated solution. (Unlike binding arbitration, both parties must agree on a resolution to the dispute in order for it to have legal effect.)
  2. Alan Hall will facilitate a minimum of four hours to mediate the dispute. For your convenience, we will come to your offices — anywhere in Middle Tennessee — at no extra cost to you.
  3. For disputes under 100K, our minimum charge is $500.00 for four hours.
  4. For indigent or reduced pay clients, please contact my office directly.
  5. If the parties agree to settle the dispute, we will craft a binding settlement agreement based on the terms of resolution.  Whether or not the dispute is resolved, we will prepare the report required under Rule 31 and submit it to the court.
